Hebrews 13 – Final Encouragements, Exhortations, and Reminders.
The Church is a family, we are to love one another as brethren – for we are brethren. We all follow the same Elohim, YAHUVEH. We follow one Lord and King, YAHUSHUA, and are all born and operate under the same Spirit, IMMA SKHINYAH, the RUACH ha KODESH. Love is the glue that keeps the body of Christ united.
We are reminded to show hospitality to strangers as many have received and entertained angels without knowing it. (Abraham/Lot)
Also to remember those who are imprisoned and have mercy on them. As YAHUSHUA said, in Matthew 25:34-40
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Believers are adopted into the family of GOD, YAHUSHUA is the eldest, showing mercy to the family members of GOD (the church) is showing kindness to Christ himself. YAHUSHUA’s words from Matthew 25 tell us to show mercy unto others who are not as privileged as we. In doing so, we are proving our love for YAHUSHUA, and even entertaining angels unaware. Verse 1-4 of Hebrews 13 is telling us to love one another.
We are to keep the institution of marriage Holy and undefiled. Remaining faithful and loyal to our partners. The adulterer and sexual immoral will be judged by GOD.
We are reminded to be content with the blessing that YAHUVEH has blessed us with. Discontentment pushes a believer to pursue possessions which GOD has not given them. We are to keep are lives free from the love of money, as written in 1 Timothy 6:10, the love of money is the root of all evil.
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:6-10
It is good for believers to strive and thrive in this world. It is good to opens businesses and be wealthy. Yet in all these, we are to put GOD first, not money. In all that we do we must understand it is not by our power nor might, by the Spirit of GOD. Remain under the grace of God and press on, don’t pursue an office you were not made to operate in.. Some are Priests, others are Levites. Some are ordained by God as Evalnglist, others have been blessed and to provide for the work of GOD.

After reading this I was reminded that Yahushua is indeed the eldest son in the family of God which I often tend to forget. After reading the last chapter, I was reminded that there is a purpose for everyone and we should not rush things but be patient and wait on God.
Amen! Thanks for the comment and visit. May God Bless and Keep You in All things.
