Salvation is a provision that YAHUVEH God has provided you and I. Just as God made a way in the red sea so that his people Israel could escape from bondage: egypt (idols, lust, sin), so has HE made manifest ‘the Way’ who is YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH (Jesus Christ) that man may escape the sins/bondage of the world and once again be reconciled with his Creator.
For this reason did YAHUSHUA say: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6.” YAHUSHUA the Messiah is the way, the truth, the life. He is not a way. It is only by HIM and through HIM that anyone can return and be reconciled with God. There is no way to God other than YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH, the only Begotten Son of YAHUVEH God.
In the Beginning…
Man was created to know and dwell in the presence of Almighty God YAHUVEH. God Created us to have fellowship with him (Prophecy 136 – “Do you know why I created you? Do you know it was for fellowship?”). In the book of Genesis, we understand that God walked through the Garden in the cool of the day “and the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?” Genesis 3:9. Man was created to have fellowship with God. To walk, talk, and live with God. Yet because of sin, though God called unto Adam, Adam hid himself, for he said “I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and hid myself.” Genesis 3:10.
Where once YAHUVEH God would call, and Adam, mankind would come running, now, because of sin God calls and man runs. Indeed, as it is written: without Holiness no man shall see YAHUVEH. Hebrews 12:14.
Sin is what separates man from God, and sin is anything that is contrary to the nature, personality or will of a Perfect and Holy YAHUVEH. No dogs – those who have heard the truth of GOD and yet return to their vomit, sorcerer, whoremonger, murderer, idolater, or liar will inherit the Kingdom of God. Yet blessed are those that do the commandments of God, they will have right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city. Revelation 22:14-15.
Disobedience is sin. When Adam and Eve disobeyed, they died. Death is separation from the Author of Life. When Adam & Even sinned, they were driven out of the Garden of Eden – their fellowship and Communion with their Creator was destroyed. God would no longer speak or walk with Adam and Eve as He had done before.
“Sin is anything that is contrary to MY nature, personality and MY will”
– Prophecy 47 – To Be Forewarned Is To Be Forearmed For Such a Time As This!
After Adam and Even sinned, all of their offspring (the entire human race) bore the imperfections brought on by their sin. The nature of all flesh turned dark, corrupt, and sinful for the Glory and presence of YAH departed (1 Samuel 4:21 – 22) and no longer abode with us as before. “All have sinned and fall short of the GLORY of God.” Romans 3:23. When Adam sinned he separated himself from the source of Life (YAHUVEH & YAHUSHUA) John 17:3, and as such death entered into the world. “…till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” Genesis 3:19.
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. Isaiah 59:2-4.
Sin does not have to be taught. Human beings by nature lie, kill, worship idols, commit adultery and fornicate without being taught. Does a child have to be taught to lie, be selfish, covet, or steal? No, a child has to be instructed in the ways of righteousness. Our flesh is corrupt, contrary to YAHUVEH’s nature and will, and for that reason YAHUVEH tells us that no man may see His face and live. Exodus 33:20, 23. Indeed, without Holiness no man shall see YAHUVEH. Hebrews 12:14.
Yet even after the fall of man, because of the Grace, Love, and Mercy of our Creator; Almighty God made a way to redeem His fallen Creation that we may once again have fellowship with Him. YAHUVEH manifested His Arm of Salvation to deliver those who were held captive by sin; for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH His only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior. Romans 6:23.
For God so loved the World…
Abraham believed, and it was counted unto him as righteousness. Genesis 15:6. We cannot please God with our good works, for we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags before Him. Isaiah 64:6. Good works cannot save, and will never merit Everlasting Life in Heaven.
God is perfect, and mankind is sinful to the core, anyone who doubts this truth only needs to look at themselves. A child must be taught to do what is right, yet brings forth evil fruit naturally. For this reason God himself stepped down into the world, and took on human flesh. The Son of God became flesh and blood to redeem and bear the sins of those who would seek their Creator. Hundreds of years before YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH came to the earth, His coming was prophesied.
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53.
Long before before YAHUSHUA Messiah came to Earth, it was prophesied that HE would come as a lamb and die for the sins of the world. He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. We as sheep have all gone astray, and God has placed on HIM the iniquities of us all. Through YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH, our sins, which are many receive their recompense, death – for “the wages of sin is death.”
As YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH died on the cross, He died the death that you and I should have died. He died not only a physical death, but a spiritual one. Spiritual death is separation from God, and on the cross YAHUSHUA bore the sins of mankind, for this reason He cried “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46.
On the cross, just as Adam and Eve were separated from YAHUVEH God because of their sin, YAHUSHUA was separated from God because of the sins of many. For “he was numbered with the transgressors,” and through His death “He bare the sin of many.” He received the wages of our sin, and in Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Ephesians 1:7.
Abraham saw the coming of the Messiah. For the test that God tested Abraham was directly related to the coming of the Son God. Genesis 22. The Salvation of God is a gift, it cannot be earned nor merited. No sum of money, no amount of good works can ever earn everlasting life and fellowship with our Abba YAHUVEH. Adam did not pay to be created, nor did he earn fellowship with God. Likewise the Redemption of God is a gift given through YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH and can only be accepted through faith in YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH, the only begotten Son of YAHUVEH God.
The testing of Abraham
And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. Genesis 22: 1-2.
God tested Abraham to reveal what HE himself would do. He commanded Abraham to take his only son, his well beloved son Issac and sacrifice him. Right before Abraham would thrust his dagger into his son Issac, God stopped him and revealed a lamb that should be sacrificed in the place of Issac. This did YAHUVEH do to foreshadow what HE himself would do; take YAHUSHUA, His one and only begotten Son and offer Him as a sacrifice for sin. YAHUSHUA became a substitute, just as the lamb took the place of Issac, so did YAHUSHUA our Messiah take our place when He died on the cross.
In all things, Abraham believed YAHUVEH God and it was counted to him as righteousness. Genesis 15:6. Likewise, all those who believe in the Son of God, YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH are made righteous through their faith in Him. YAHUSHUA died on Calvary for the sins of the world. Yet even before He went to the cross, He spoke to his disciples that He would rise after 3 days.
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. Mark 8:31
Likewise all those who have accepted HIM have passed over from death. Just as death could not conquer YAHUSHUA our Messiah, those who have placed their trust in HIM shall not die, but have everlasting life.
