James 1 – The Testing Of Our Faith Produces Patience
The Epistle of James, chapter 1 verse 2 encourages us to count it a blessing when we fall in all manners of temptation as these temptations, or trials build our patients. Patients, a necessity for all Children and followers of YAHUSHUA. Things are done in his time, not ours. I especially say this referring to his second coming. There are some out there that know so much about ABBA YAHUVEH – it takes patients to wait on the fulfillment of His Word. Sometimes we want to rush things, just remember that all that He has promised will come to pass, hold on to your faith and wait for it.
Verse 4 of James: But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. It’s easy to Praise the Lord when all is well, when there are no financial issues. I’m not speaking of those who forget GOD when all is well and seek Him only when in need. But rather those who Praise and Adore YAHUSHUA daily. The Epistle of James is making the point that even when faced with trials and temptations, we are not to give up our Faith, but to Praise GOD in the good and in the bad. As Job did. When we are tempted, and remain strong in Faith, the Bible lets us understand, – that is when we are perfected.
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Revelation 3:10
Revelation 3:10 is YAHUSHUA speaking to the churches. It’s amazing that The church of Philadelphia is the only church that he did not rebuke. Not only so, it’s very significant to note what Lord YAHUSHUA states: Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. YAHUSHUA is referring to the great tribulation, which is a test of faith.
You need not to take a test twice, unless you fail on the first attempt. The church of Philadelphia has been perfected through trials and tribulations, as such they have been able to endure the Word of YAHUSHUA’s patients. They need not to face additional tribulations, they have already been refined, and have come out as gold through fire.
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. Revelation 3:18
In this church, the Lord is using gold to refer to faith. Your faith must be refined through fire, which is tribulation. The trying of your faith works patients.
James 1:12: Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
No man is tempted of GOD, rather every man is tempted when he lusts and follows such lists. Verse 21, we are to lay aside filth and sin, and receive the Word of GOD in faith, which is able to save our souls.
Not only so, but we are to be doers of the Word. Hear it and act upon it as YAHUSHUA let us understand in the parable of the sower.
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. Matthew 13:23
The understanding which is being spoken of is understanding that comes from the heart. Matthew 13:15
Remember the poor, the fatherless, and widows. All those who are in need, provide as your are able and GOD will provide when you are needing.
