Second John 1 – Holy Reminders and Exhortations
This epistle is directed to a narrower audience: “The elder unto the elect lady and her children.” Whom the Apostle John loves in the truth, and not only he, but also all those who have known the truth.
2 For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.
The ‘truth’ personified as YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH – which dwells in us, and shall be with us for ever. Children of YAHUVEH GOD rejoice when fellow brethren walk in the commandments of YAHUVEH GOD in grace and truth (YAHUSHUA – John 1:17).
John continues to encourage and edifies that we are to love one another. And this is love, that we walk after the commandments of YAHUVEH GOD (John 14:15).
Many deceivers have entered into the world, who confess not that YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH is come in the flesh. Deceivers who have ‘entered’, giving the sense that they are sent into the world to work against the Gospel of YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH.
Those who look to deceive, and confess not that YAHUSHUA is come into the flesh are an antichrist, and deceiver. Let’s make sure that we do not lose those things that we have worked for by compromising truths or leaning towards lies. We are to abide in the truth of Christ, and hold on to the teachings of the Apostles of YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH. Whoever transgresses, and does not abide in YAHUSHUA does not have YAHUVEH GOD. For the Father and the Son are one. Abide in the Son and you also have the Father. YAHUSHUA said, “… unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
John 14:6. Anyone who preaches otherwise is a deceiver and an antichrist. Do not welcome or support anyone who confesses not that YAHUSHUA is come in the flesh, or preaches any other means to Father YAHUVEH other than YAHUSHUA.
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
In other words, don’t bless or prosper the works of satan in any means, shape, or form. Likewise, whosoever supports and welcomes a servant of YAHUVEH, SHKHINYAH, and YAHUSHUA is blessed. Matthew 10:40-42.
