James 3 – To Proclaim the Glorious Works of GOD, or to Curse and Destroy. Who is The Master of Your Tongue?

Let us turn our Bibles to the Book of James, Chapter 3:

The tongue of a man confesses YAHUSHUA as Lord GOD Almighty, the only begotten Son of Almighty YAHUVEH, thus bringing the entire body into salvation. The same tongue rejects YAHUSHUA, and through the words of the tongue the entire body is thrown into everlasting fire. The tongue brings either life, or death.

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. James 3:1-2.

The Bible through this verse is making us understand that as a teacher, pastor, any person that holds leadership position in GOD’s service will be held more accountable. We go on to understand that as a teacher or pastor your words may offend. In saying this I do not mean the Words of GOD, but rather words and speech from the flesh. A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. Proverbs 15:1

For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body: We need to understand that a man can worship and praise God with his tongue, yet lie and speak blasphemies with the same tongue. A man who can bridle the whole body, in this case the church – one who can direct it into salvation is one who speaks only Holy words.

This also Refers to the Holy tongues which GOD first gave unto his people in Acts Chapter 2. The tongue is a small, but powerful member of the body; with it we bless and encourage, and at the same time curse and destroy. For this cause GOD takes control of our tongues through his spirit that we may pray even though we know not what we say. If God controls the tongue, then he also controls the body.

Just as a massive ship is directed by a small wheel, so does the tongue direct the entire body into life, or destruction. Preach the Word to All Nations YAHUSHUA said. With the tongue we are able to bless, encourage, communicate with our Father YAHUVEH in Heaven, worship, praise, ask for aid when in need or just speak words of love to him. The same tongue is capable of speaking blasphemies, cursing, causing others to fall from YAH, and form filthy words. Who is the master of your tongue?

I’ll be the first to admit that not all words which proceeded out of my mouth are planned, some things come out from the flesh. The flesh is in bondage to sin, words of flesh bring about sin, strife, bitterness, murders, division, greed, and death.

With all the members of our body, it’s interesting to note the fact that God choose to take control of the tongue. Words of God’s Spirit on the other hand brings eternal life, peace, love, understanding, joy, hope, and faith.

A wisman who has strife and bitterness in his heart is not of God. His wisdom is not heavenly, but rather earthly. Devilish the Bible goes on to say. Rather “…the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” James 3:17.

The Bible makes it clear that we are to be Holy as YAHUVEH Elohim is Holy. We are a people who He has separated unto himself. We see the results of when God takes control of the tongue: we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. Acts 2:11. Is it possible that a fountain sends forth sweet and sour water? As children of God we are to commit our tongue into God’s hands, we are to strive to remove any and every fifthly talk that we become perfect and direct his body into Life.
