The Definition of Faith from Hebrews 11: The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In other words, Faith is the substance which is used to pull and wait for God’s unseen works/plans into manifestation. ‘The evidence of things not seen’ – faith is evidence of GOD’s works waiting to be revealed.

Though not seen, you believe and know that something is. The Bible states that faith is the evidence of things not seen. The word used, evidence, implies something that can be seen or touched.

HE, is the same GOD yesterday, today and forevermore. What GOD has done in the past he can, will, and continues to do again. HE promises to catch his children from this earth and into his Kingdom (the catching away/rapture). Where does faith come into play? The Bible makes it clear that Enoch was raptured from this Earth. Not only so, but Elijah was also taken to Heaven. We go on and see that The Son of GOD, YAHUSHUA the Messiah also left this Earth in like manner. Such evidence was recorded and witnessed.

Faith is the substance which evidence creates to hope and wait for the promises of GOD. As stated above, HE has done it before, can do it again, and he will do it again.

Hebrews makes us understand many things. One being that the worlds where framed by YAHUVEH’s Words. It goes on to state that things which are appear (manifest) are all made by things unseen. GOD’s Word is the unseen, which highlights the importance in having Faith in YAHUVEH’s everlasting Word, YAHUSHUA the Messiah.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Isaiah 55:10-11

Every promise made of GOD and every Word spoken will come to pass. Faith is the substance, the strengthens and allows us to hold on to his Words. “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? ” Numbers 23:19.

As YAHUSHUA said, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Matthew 24:35. Faith is the understanding that he who has begun a good work will bring it to an expected end.

The Book of Hebrews goes and and makes us understand that believing in GOD, having faith in Him makes us righteous. As stated in Genesis Chapter 15:6, Abraham “believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness”. Is it any wonder that Faith pleases GOD? Through Faith is GOD we become righteous. Verse 6 of Hebrews: “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
Genesis 17-1:7

GOD promised Abram, that he would make him the Father of many nations. Excuse me, the Bible states that GOD had already made him the father of many nations. This work only needed to manifest into the physical realm. Faith is the substance with which we hold on to GODs yet unseen works.

YAHUVEH made a covenant with Abraham, Issac, Jacob, and their seed, and although the promises made concerning them were not fulfilled in their generation; These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Hebrews 11:13

The Fruition Of GOD’s plan in your life is based on your faith in him. If GOD has spoken, then he will perform. Abraham knew this, and for this cause was not afraid to offer Issac unto YAHUVEH when tested. Faith is substance which allows us to hold onto the Promises of GOD.

The just shall live by faith, he who has begun a good work will bring it to an expected end. Trust & Obey.
